Today was a quick declutter. Super quick. The drawer I keep my cutting boards and a couple of pot holders in is a small one. I like keeping the cutting boards in there because it's a convenient location. I also used to keep all (or most) of the manuals for the big appliances, little appliances and new cooking products in there too. I don't know why. I guess in my mind since there was a spot in the kitchen where those would fit, it was ok. How many times have I ever consulted one of those manuals? ZERO. I realized that if I ever had a question about a product I owned, it was easier for me to look it up online and find my answer there. The manuals are all online too!! So....bye bye manuals! You no longer get to take up space in my kitchen!
Isn't that ridiculous? Everything is so shoved in there.
Sooooo much better!! A dedicated spot for cutting boards and my silicone pot holders. I don't use the fabric one and use oven mitts to transfer hot pans to the silicone pot holders. No need to hang onto what I'm not going to use!
Anyway....that was my super quick declutter!
